Oaklawn's Olivet-based practice receives top patient-care award

The awards, bestowed since 2003, recognize primary care physicians for providing exceptional patient care, and making health care accessible and affordable.

 

The staff of the Olivet clinic at 202 North Main St. is composed of Raya Constantino, M.D.; Jackalyn Govier, D.O.; Roger S. Kilbourn, D.O.; Lisa Wooden, P.A.-C, CDE; Anna Neff, department assistant; Sherri Hough, medical assistant; Kim Snyder, medical assistant; and Kim Westlake, practice manager.

Individual physicians and groups selected are considered the most effective at ensuring that patients receive preventive care and manage their chronic conditions, and have high satisfaction with their care.

 

Constantino received her medical degree in 2003 from the University of the Philippines Manila, and a graduate diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds medical licenses in California and Michigan.

 

Govier received her degree in osteopathic medicine in 2003 from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Penn. She served as an intern with an emphasis in family medicine at the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, which in 2005-06 she served as chief resident in family medicine.

 

Kilbourn earned his bachelor’s degree at Oregon State University. He attended medical school at Michigan State University, receiving his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree in 2001. He is board certified in family practice.

 

Wooden, a certified diabetes educator, received a bachelor’s degree from Albion College and a bachelor’s degree in the physician assistant program from Western Michigan University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
