The Oaklawn Color Classic is going to be colorful again this year! Runners and walkers will be doused in colored powder throughout the route. This event is an example of Oaklawn’s dedication to keeping the community healthy by encouraging individuals and families to foster healthy lifestyles. By hosting the Color Classic, Oaklawn hopes to promote fun and fitness and enjoyment of running or walking for all ages.
We are pleased that we are able to offer free entry into the 1-Mile Fun run for all students K- 5 who participate with our Youth Fitness Club program. Please check with your child’s gym teacher or school to see if they participate.

Pre-Registration/Early Packet Pick-Up: Friday, June 9th from 4:00-7:00pm (Location: Hospital Lobby, 200 N. Madison St.)
Race Day Registration/Packet Pick-Up: 9:00am at Brooks Memorial Fountain
5k Run and Walk: 10:00am
Mile Fun Run: 11:00am
After party at Grand River Brewery – Marshall beginning at 11am. Show your Color Run race bib and get 1/2 off appetizers and your first beer is $1. Free beverage for kids in a commemorative cup. Entertainment will be provided.
Cost for general public: $35
Cost for kids (ages 6-18): $20 (1-Mile Fun Run free for Youth Fitness Club participants at Gordon, Hughes, Walters, Harrington, Sonoma, and Mar Lee Elementaries)
Cost for kids (ages 5 and under): Free! *strollers allowed*
