Employee Giving

Real Care. Real Giving. Real Impact.

Participating in the annual employee campaign is important on many levels. The total dollars collected over the course of a year makes a signifiant impact on Oaklawn’s financial picture. The number of participants is also significant in the view of funders and evaluators – the higher the percentage of employees choosing to include Oaklawn in their personal philanthropy goals demonstrates commitment to the overall organization. We encourage all employees to show a commitment to the organizational goals by joining us in supporting the employee campaign in any way they can financially manage.

Levels of Giving

Employee Giving Circle ($1+ annually)
Cornerstone Club ($200+ annually)
Cornerstone Capstone (1% of annual gross pay)

There are 3 funds to consider when making donations to Oaklawn via the Employee Giving Campaign.

  1. The General Operations Fund provides support across all expenses of the hospital and medical group.
  2. The Patient Benefit Fund covers the cost of an item for a patient that is not covered or has been denied by their insurance. Requests or applications must be approved by a committee through the Development Department. It should improve a patient’s quality of life or complete a course
    of treatment.
  3. Your third choice is the Helping Hands Fund which supports coworkers in their time of need to overcome any barriers that they have to being successful at work. This fund helps with extreme circumstances beyond their control, and as a result, cannot afford housing, necessary utilities, or other basic living needs. Those in need can apply through the Human Resources Department.

Payroll deduction is also an easy way to give.

Contact Cindy Lake in the Development Office if you’d like to receive an Employee Giving Campaign form and set up payroll deduction. Your donation per pay period (26 per year) will automatically renew at the end of each calendar year, unless terminated by either You or Oaklawn.
