Overview

Urology is a surgical specialty which deals with diagnosing and treating diseases of the female and male urinary tract and make reproductive organs.

A significant portion of patients , both male and female, who seek treatment from a urologist do so because of urinary tract infections.  Urinary tract infections could be simple, or could represent a less obvious disorder of the urinary tract.
