We provide a wide variety of treatments, including testing, hypnosis, biofeedback, didactic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychiatry. Our clinical staff helps patients deal with a wide variety of issues, including:

  • Eating Disorders
  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity
  • Phobias
  • Panic and Anxiety
  • Adolescent Issues
  • Marital Family Discord
  • Depression/Stress

Overcoming life’s big hurdles.

Sometimes outpatient services are not enough to fully address an issue. The Oaklawn Psychiatric Center, located at the hospital, is a 17-bed adult care facility for those experiencing severely disruptive changes in their thoughts, feelings or behaviors. Here a multi-disciplinary team of social workers, activity therapists, psychiatric nurses and psychiatrists work together to address a wide variety of issues. Individual and group therapy is offered seven days a week and focuses on medication knowledge and compliance, problem solving, self esteem, stress management and other individualized therapeutic interventions. Families are encouraged to participate when it’s appropriate to do so. Admission to the Psychiatric Center is by physician, therapist, family, friend or self-referral.
