Oaklawn provides a continuum of mental health services. In addition to the inpatient psychiatric adult unit at the main hospital, Oaklawn has an outpatient psychological services office. This is located in a beautiful wooded setting on the outskirts of Marshall at the Bear Creek campus located at 15209 West Michigan Avenue. The outpatient services staff treats adults, teenagers, and children. The staff includes psychiatric service providers as well as mental health therapists. Individual therapy as well as couples therapy are provided.

A variety of psychological treatments are provided including cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy for trauma issues, supportive therapy, hypnosis, emotion focused couples and individual therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and a number of other therapeutic approaches.
