Birth Center Visitor Policy

To maintain our patients’ privacy and comfort while continuing to provide outstanding care, the following policies are observed in the Birth Center:

  • Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
  • Dads or a support person are allowed to visit anytime.
  • Healthy siblings are allowed to visit during the day. However, we are unable to accommodate overnight stays for siblings.
  • Please keep visitors to no more than three at a time, and please be aware that standing in the hallways is not allowed. A lounge is available for visitors when not in the patient’s room.
  • Videotaping during delivery is not allowed, as video tape is considered to be a part of the medical record. After both mother and baby have been stabilized, taping is permitted when approved by the physician or nurse caring for the mother and baby.
  • No children under the age of 12 are allowed to visit unless they are siblings of the infant.
