To maintain our patients’ privacy and comfort while continuing to provide outstanding care, the following policies are observed in the Birth Center:
Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
Dads or a support person are allowed to visit anytime.
Healthy siblings are allowed to visit during the day. However, we are unable to accommodate overnight stays for siblings.
Please keep visitors to no more than three at a time, and please be aware that standing in the hallways is not allowed. A lounge is available for visitors when not in the patient’s room.
Videotaping during delivery is not allowed, as video tape is considered to be a part of the medical record. After both mother and baby have been stabilized, taping is permitted when approved by the physician or nurse caring for the mother and baby.
No children under the age of 12 are allowed to visit unless they are siblings of the infant.
