Oaklawn welcomes Arjuna Cuddeback, DO, to orthopedic team
MARSHALL, Mich. — Oaklawn has welcomed board-certified orthopedic surgeon Arjuna Cuddeback, DO, who began seeing patients Nov. 2 as a contracted provider.
Cuddeback brings experience in general orthopedic surgery, with specialized training in lower extremity trauma.
“Patients can expect to be treated with respect, care and compassion,” Cuddeback said. “I try to tailor treatment plans to patients’ individual needs and goals. I also make sure patients and their families play an integral part in any treatment decision.”
A native of the Lansing area, Cuddeback returned to mid-Michigan with his family in 2023 after seven years practicing in Indiana. He has since practiced orthopedic surgery with University of Michigan Health Sparrow–Eaton in Charlotte.
“I have heard great things about Marshall as a town and Oaklawn as a hospital,” Cuddeback said. “I went through orthopedic surgery residency with Dr. [Kimberly] McLean and have great respect for her. She has always had wonderful things to say about the community and the Oaklawn team, and really put it on my radar.”
Cuddeback earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Oakland in Pontiac. He received additional fellowship training in lower extremity trauma and foot and ankle reconstruction at Orthopedic Specialists of Nevada.
“As a member of an extremely active family, and with a background in competitive soccer, I’m acutely aware of the importance we place on active lifestyles,” he said. “My goal is to get our patients back to whatever that level of activity is as safely and as successfully as possible.”
Cuddeback sees patients at Oaklawn Medical Group’s Marshall Specialty Clinic, 203 Winston Drive in Marshall. To schedule an appointment, call 269-789-4380.
