Flower Haus owner to speak Nov. 20 to Widows Support Group

MARSHALL – Local businesswoman Penny Jump will be the featured speaker at the next luncheon meeting of Oaklawn’s Widows Support Group.

The group will meet at noon Friday, Nov. 20, in the large classroom on the third floor of the Wright Medical Building, 215 E. Mansion St.

Jump owns The Flower Haus, a downtown business operated situated at 116 E. Michigan Ave. since 1988. In addition to maintaining a selection of green and blooming plants, specializing in gift baskets, the business operates a wine-tasting room featuring products from Warner Vineyards, Michigan’s second-oldest winery.

Reservations are required and must be received by noon Wednesday, Nov. 18. Reservations may be made by calling Vera Hazel at (269) 964-8184. Cancellations must be received within 24 hours of the luncheon, and may be made by calling (269) 789-3942. No-shows are responsible for the $6 charge for the luncheon.
