Oaklawn receives donation from Albion College students

Albion College students donate children’s “care kits” for use at Oaklawn

 Representatives of Albion College’s Student Volunteer Bureau recently visited Marshall to deliver about three dozen “care kits” intended for children who visit Oaklawn’s Emergency Room. The kits include coloring pages, candy, stuffed animals, hygiene products and other items to help young people feel at ease. Shown are (from left) Chris Spisak and Rebecca Enerson, members of the college’s class of 2019, and Sara Jeffery of Oaklawn’s Development Department. “We wanted to make a personable donation that focused on children,” said Enerson, who added that the Student Volunteer Bureau conducts a special volunteer project on a weekly basis.
