Breast Reduction

Overly large breasts can not only take a toll on a woman’s health, but on her self esteem. During this procedure, excess tissue and skin is removed to reduce the size of your breasts. This results in decreased physical ailments, increased confidence and a more evenly proportioned body frame.

Often, women with large breasts suffer from problems like:

  • Back, shoulder and neck pain
  • Excess sweating under the breasts, causing skin rashes
  • Breast pain
  • Discomfort from excess pressure on bra straps
  • Decreased self esteem
  • Inability to find clothing that fits

If large breasts are causing medical problems (like back pain), then a reduction is often covered by insurance. However, if the procedure is being done for cosmetic reasons, then it will most likely not be covered. Make sure to speak to your insurance provider in advance to determine whether or not they will pay for the procedure.
