Auxiliary plans accessories sale April 11 in hospital lobby

MARSHALL – Members of the Oaklawn Hospital Auxiliary are gearing up for two special activities during April.…

The first is a new sale of men’s and women’s accessories, to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 11.

The sale will be conducted in the front lobby of Oaklawn Hospital at 200 N. Madison St.

Items for sale will include jewelry, scarves, belts, billfolds, purses and winter wear, most of them priced from $6 to $10 per item, said Auxiliary member Donna Mather.

The second event is the annual spring Bunco party, which will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, April 28, at the Fredonia Township Hall at the corner of F Drive South and Old US-27 South.

Tickets for the party are $10 each and may be purchased at the door. The event will include a special drawing, and refreshments will be provided.

Both events will help raise money to support the Auxiliary and its programs to benefit Oaklawn Hospital and its patients.
