Margaret Hurst received her Associate Degree in Science from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, MI. and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI. She complete her Master of Science in Nursing from Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, MI.
Hurst is currently a nurse practitioner at Oaklawn Wound Center. Her extensive background in nursing and wound care management includes experience as clinical coordinator at Oaklawn Wound Center and as a registered nurse with Oaklawn Homecare.
She is licensed under American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified. She also holds certifications in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing and Adult Cardiac Life Support.
Hurst is a member of Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Wound, Ostomy and Continence Society. She has been a member of the Oaklawn staff since 1999 and Oaklawn Wound Center since 2008.
