Khurram Khan, M.D. has joined the staff of the Oaklawn Pain Management Center in its ongoing effort to expand patient access to its broad array of medical services.
Khan comes to Marshall from California-based Rehab Rancho Mirage, where he practiced hospice and palliative medicine, pain medicine and spinal-cord injury medicine.
After receiving his medical degree at at the Dow University Medical School, Khan served an internship in general surgery and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2005.
Khan’s subsequent training included studies at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, as well as fellowships in headache medicine and pain medicine at the University of Southern California.
His postgraduate work included studies at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, featuring experience in orthopedics, pediatrics, internal medicine and general and cardiac surgery.
Khan is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan, California and Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Radiological Society of North America, American Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, American Physiological Society, Michigan Medical Society, GI Society of Pakistan, Pakistan Medical & Research Council, Pakistan Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society.
